Avalanches: natural avalanche off Gibson Ridge immediately above the defensive berms. Did not look big enough to bury a person but probably take you for a ride.

A natural avalanche from midday on Gibson Ridge as you drive into town. If you look closely you can see a few tiny avalanches in the storm snow and one bigger avalanche that failed in old snow. Doesn’t look big enough to bury a person, but probably carry you.
