Oh baby, it is happening out there! Yesterday afternoon and last night produced intense snowfall, at times, with 12+ inches at most mountain locations. Storm totals for the past 48 hours are impressive with SWE totals ranging from 1.5″ to 3.6″; this multi-day storm looks to be the largest thus far this season. For today you can expect continued snowfall although the most intense rates will have likely already happened yesterday and last night but 4 to 7 inches during the day is possible across the forecast area. Ample moisture and good wind directions will keep the snow production going through early Monday morning. Winds will continue to blow fast enough to transport snow from the WSW.
