Mountain Weather for 11,000 ft

CB Avalanche CenterWeather

Date: 12/05/2018

A weak stream of moisture has moved into the area overnight bringing clouds, slightly warmer temperatures and will be the precursor to snow beginning in earnest sometime tomorrow.
While we have moisture overhead, we also have warmer air aloft and not much lift or forcing to create snow today or tonight, but maybe we can squeeze out some flakes. Winds remain light to moderate from the West, but strong enough to keep moving snow around up high. The clouds will increase warming today, but we will have less sun so overall it will still feel cold.
