A few mid storm dribblers in the Ruby Range, couldn’t see anything significant.
Weather: Sunny, cool temps but strong solar radiation, winds calm down low but strong at peak level with significant plumes WNW
Snowpack: About a dozen collapses with about half of those thundering across the flats. Dug a quick pit in R&R JA interface mid slope. HS 75. The 01/06 interface was not very distinct. New snow was F hard Xmas storm was 4F over the 12/21 interface that was about 15cm’s of faceted poly crystals (P to F hardness) the classic Irwin basal layer. see photos in email. No real slab where I traveled and upper pitches of lower west wall were Very shallow and rocky. Most of the collapses were in the flats.
