Weather Outlook

A small shortwave passing well north of our forecast area is expected to produce some light precipitation in the northern mountains, but unfortunately this small disturbance will most likely only bring us partly to mostly cloudy conditions today. Look for skies to clear overnight and high pressure and mild weather to prevail on Sunday before the flow turns more zonal and we could see a significant pattern change into early next week. Although this next system includes good jet support and associated moisture, we’ll keep our fingers crossed as the most current models show this system favoring the northern mountains and the front range.
